Hannah Miller, APCC, is a compassionate and down-to-earth therapist who brings a warm, accepting presence to each of her sessions. Specializing in working with elementary aged children, teens, and young adults, Hannah's approach is grounded in understanding and collaboration. She works with clients who may have difficulty trusting or engaging with therapists, including those who have been reluctant to seek help in the past. Hannah strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions with curiosity, without judgment, and where they can finally exhale.
Hannah’s primary treatment approach is Person-Centered Therapy, which focuses on creating a non-judgmental and empathetic environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. While this is the foundation of her work, Hannah also incorporates techniques from DBT, CBT, mindfulness-based CBT, Solution-Focused therapy, ACT, and motivational interviewing when they align with the client’s needs and goals.
Hannah has experience treating a variety of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, self-esteem, self-harm, and anger-related concerns. She believes that healing involves addressing both clean pain—the discomfort of processing emotions—and moving away from dirty pain, which keeps us stuck in cycles of harm and disconnection.
Hannah is passionate about creating an environment where clients feel understood and empowered to live authentically. She believes everyone has inherent value and dignity, which shapes her approach to therapy, ensuring that each client’s unique needs are met with care and respect. Hannah is committed to providing affirming, effective therapy in person or via telehealth and is supervised by Fae Feliciano, LCSW (LCSW #103952).
If you’re looking for a therapist who offers acceptance, empathy, and understanding, contact us to schedule an appointment with Hannah to begin your journey toward healing.
